CHINLE ADVENTIST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

About CAES

Chinle Adventist Elementary School (CAES) is a first- through eighth-grade elementary school located on the Navajo Nation in Chinle, Arizona. Since 1995, it has been a part of the Holbrook Indian School's system of American Indian education and serves as an alternative for elementary-aged children who do not wish to be away from home.

A New Academic Year and new Hope For the Future

We are very pleased that we could open our doors again to our students in Chinle for the 2023-24 academic year. We welcomed our new elementary teacher, Mrs. Venus Veloria, and her family; as well as our new cook and janitor, Catherine Paisano. This year we have seven wonderful students, and they visit Holbrook Indian School (HIS) on a monthly basis to check out books from the library, ride horses, engage in P.E. classes with the HIS students, and more. We look forward to what God has planned for CAES this year, and we are thankful for the support we have from HIS and the generous friends of HIS.
